Project Partners

Larsen & Toubro Limited

It is a matter of pride for Larsen & Toubro Limited, the leading engineering and construction company in India, to be involved in constructing the 500ft / 152m statue of Maitreya Buddha, which will be the world's tallest and one of its most enduring religious monuments. The Project also involves the throne of the statue, which is a magnificent structure and equivalent to a seventeen storey building.

A combination of the latest technologies available from the members of the Maitreya team combined with Larsen & Toubro's proven capabilities in project planning, procurement and execution will ensure that the project is executed to its expected standards. The knowledge of the availability of resources locally will also help right from the project planning stage itself so that the project blends with the local environment and at the same time makes best and most judicious use of the resources available locally and within India.
